Dr. Phillips is a licensed psychologist specializing in anxiety, trauma, and medical life issues (pain management, cancer, sleep issues, TMJ, etc.). He has over 20 years of experience as a therapist, holds two masters degrees from Abilene Christian University, and a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  His experience also includes prior service as an active duty psychologist in the US Air Force and currently serves a broad spectrum of active duty and civilian patients.
 
In addition to being an established counseling health psychologist, he has presented at numerous national conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of diabetes management, career stress, pain management, cancer psychology, trauma, and many other topics.
 
Dr. Phillips is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. His therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help patients effectively address personal life challenges. He integrates scientifically grounded methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each patient. With compassion and understanding, Dr. Phillips works with individuals to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
